1986 was a great year for quads in general. This model year brought more choices to the showroom floor as the three wheeler market began to unwind. Thanks to the Suzuki Quad Racer we now had both 2 stroke and 4 stroke quads to choose from. Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha were starting to see the potential for quad industry and the amount of different models released annually would continue to rise from 86 onward. Three wheelers were still available in 1986 but the quads were beginning to take hold with the consumer because of the the awesome stability. 1986 quad parts are still available for any production models from the big four, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha.
