USED TRIKE TIRES FOR SALE

I have many used trike tires for sale. Obviously these are ATV tires, but we'll call them trike tires just for you three wheeler guys. They are various sizes and conditions. Some have been raced and still have plenty of life left.

Used trike tires are a good way to save money if you burn up tires often. I recycle the tires that are salvageable and sell them off.

Honda Idle Stop

Quote:1. What is the Idling Stop System?

Normally, once you start an engine, it continues to consume fuel until you switch it off. In other words, it burns gas unnecessarily at traffic lights and other brief stops.

The Idling Stop System automatically switches the engine off at traffic lights and other brief stops, eliminating wasteful fuel consumption.

When the Idling Stop System is switched on, it automatically turns the engine off and on for you when you stop and start up. This results in a fuel saving of approximately 7%, compared to when the system is not in operation (according to Honda testing using ECE R40 mode).

2. All the rider needs to do is drive normally

All you need to do is switch to Idling Stop mode.
The engine automatically turns off at traffic signals and other brief stops1. When you’re ready to go, just turn the throttle grip and it starts up again instantly.

However, the engine coolant temperature must be over 60˚C for system to operate.

3. The AC generator-equipped Idling Stop System features quiet starts

Honda developed an ACG (AC generator) starter-type Idling Stop System for the PCX—a first for a 125cc-class motorcycle and scooter*—in order to deliver comfortable operation even as Idling Stop is put to work frequently in city driving.

I got this explanation from the Honda global website. This Idle stopping system is awesome and I would love to see it rolled out on more models. Hopefully Honda will run with it.

Quote:KAWASAKI UNVEILS LIMITED EDITION 2017 NINJA H2™ CARBON

Kawasaki’s standard model 2017 Ninja H2 sport-bike has been refined with a high-grade model aimed squarely at discerning customers looking for something a little more exclusive.

Simply known as the Ninja H2 Carbon, this limited-edition model is an enhanced version of the original. It features a carbon-fiber upper cowl resembling that of the Ninja H2R motorcycle, special mirror-finish paint, and a serial number plate. A limited run of 120 units will be produced globally, with only six available to the U.S. market.

Here's a great way to invest you money if you're a Kawasaki street bike fan. The limited run should make this one heck of a collectible in twenty years, between now and then however, you've got an awesome bike to ride.

Quote:Minnesota's ATV and snowmobile maker Arctic Cat will become part of the Textron empire.

Textron agreed to buy snowmobile maker Arctic Cat in an all-cash deal. Here are the details owners of the two companies need to consider.

Betting on outdoor recreational vehicles Textron's offer values Arctic Cat at $247 million plus the assumption of all the company's debt.

Quote:What this means if you own an Arctic Cat quad? Probably nothing. Arctic Cat snowmobile and ATV sales have been flat just like all the other major manufacturers and they were forced to sell out. There hasn't been any discussion that I'm aware of where they would cease to make ATV's and snowmobiles.

This is a sign of the times, we just have to hope that Textron bought Arctic Cat to make money from that product line and the popular name.

Here is a great article on the CB1100. These bikes are popular globally. The design looks like it hasn't changed all that much in 30 years, but they continue to sell and obviously they are extremely reliable since they are a Honda product.
