How Often Do You Change the Air Filter on a DVX?

I was wondering how often do you change the air filter on a DVX quad. Should i plan on a schedule, or just change when it appears dirty.

I have always cleaned my air cleaner and only changed once or twice a year, but I can see this being different for somebody who rides in a dusty environment. I think air filter maintenance is a common sense judgement call.

If you bought the DVX or any ATV used, I would replace it if it looks bad, once you've changed it out I would just clean it regularly. They should last for years even if you're riding in dusty areas.
